Douwe Egberts, the company behind Pickwick, has been active in the Netherlands since 1753 and has a rich history. The Pickwick brand was launched in 1937 and has since become a well-known label for quality tea. The name Pickwick was inspired by the famous book The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club by Charles Dickens and was suggested by the wife of the then-director due to the English sound of the name.

This vintage tin not only offers a piece of history but also has a practical use in daily life.
