Product Information:
This vintage biscuit tin from the Paul C. Kaiser bakery is a prime example of functional design with a strong historical and decorative appeal. Produced between 1950 and 1960 by Wed. J. Bekkers & Zoon in Dordrecht, the tin stands out with its cream-coloured base and the iconic red silhouette of a girl in a hoop skirt, "Paula," the well-known emblem of the bakery. The slogan “Paula altijd te verkiezen” (Paula is always the best choice) reinforces the advertising message of the time.

The tin features a loose snap-on lid for secure closure, with a seamed edge at the back and a plain metal interior for durability and ease of use. Commissioned by N.V. Paul C. Kaiser Rotterdam, this tin exudes nostalgic charm, directly referencing the rich history of the luxury bakery, famed for the "Paula" figure used in various advertisements.
