  • Manufacturing Date: 1930 - 1940

Product Description:
This original vintage cookie tin from Albert Heijn, dating back to the 1930-1940 period, is a unique collector’s item. The tin was designed for "Echte Zaanse Koeken" and features a characteristic tall, round design. The exterior showcases a lavender and pink colour scheme, adorned with three typical Zaan region images: the Mustard Mill, a traditional Zaan house, and a Trek boat, further embellished with a coat of arms beneath the images. The Trek boat's depiction is rare, making this tin especially unique.

The tin comes with a removable lid. The text "Albert Heijn's Echte Zaanse Koeken" and the recognizable AH logo are displayed on the lid. The name "Albert Heijn" is embossed on the bottom of the tin. The combination of lavender, pink, white, and gold gives the tin a nostalgic look, characteristic of the design style from this era.
