About LU (Lefèvre-Utile):
Lefèvre-Utile, better known as LU, is a renowned biscuit producer from France. The name LU is an acronym of the initials of Lefèvre and Utile, the couple who began biscuit production under this brand in 1887. LU is famous for its various products, including Petit Beurre, TUC, Cracottes, Bastogne, and Prince.

In the mid-19th century, the Lefèvre-Utile couple began baking wafers and biscuits in Nantes. Their son Louis opened a pastry workshop in 1883, and in 1887, the biscuit factory was founded. LU gained international recognition after participating in the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle.
