Nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus):
The floral design on the tin represents the nasturtium, an annual plant from the Tropaeolaceae family. This plant is known for its creeping and sometimes climbing growth, with shield-like, grey-green leaves. The botanical name Tropaeolum comes from the Latin word "tropaeum," meaning a tree adorned with weapons, symbolizing victory.
This storage tin combines aesthetic charm with functional usability, making it an interesting piece for collectors and vintage kitchenware enthusiasts.
