This large, rectangular vintage tin, manufactured by Etabl. J. Schuybroek, S.A in Hoboken-Anvers, dates from the 1960s to 1970s. The tin is distinguished by its elegant, curved sides and a hinged lid. The gold-coloured rim on the back of the lid bears the inscription "Etabl. J. Schuybroek, S.A Hoboken-Anvers" in small letters, confirming the authenticity of this collectable item.
The decoration on the tin is a feast for the eyes: a black background richly adorned with seven different colourful tropical birds, depicted sitting on tree branches with leaves. These vibrant illustrations bring an exotic atmosphere, making the tin a striking addition to any interior. The front of the tin features a lock with a keyhole; however, the key is missing.
Condition:
