Hille's Biscuit was founded on June 2, 1901, by K. Hille in Zaandam. Under Hille's leadership, the factory quickly developed into a leading producer of biscuits. Originally a luxury product due to the expensive tin packaging, Hille later introduced cheaper paper bags, making biscuits more accessible to the public. Hille’s biscuits are known for their high quality and played a crucial role in popularizing this product in the Netherlands.
