Known for its well-preserved medieval city centre, Doesburg offers a picturesque setting with many monumental buildings and narrow streets. As one of the Hanseatic cities, Doesburg played a crucial role in trade during the Middle Ages.

The town is also home to the famous Doesburg Mustard Museum and the Doesburg Mustard Factory, where the local mustard tradition is maintained. Annually, Doesburg hosts various cultural events and markets, attracting many visitors. The historical character and scenic environment make Doesburg a beloved destination for tourists and day-trippers.
