The tin is adorned with a hand-painted brown/yellow background featuring three depicted scenes: a farmer harvesting grain, a chicken with a nest of eggs, and a farmer milking a cow. The lid depicts a breakfast table with the text: 'fine Frisian table biscuit Fa v.d. MEULEN & Zn Hallum'.

In 1930, the second generation began exporting biscuits to America, with the motto: "the more you eat the more you want!"
