In terms of decoration, the cookie tin has a white background adorned with colorful illustrations of Dutch landscapes throughout the four seasons, including images of birds and traditional houses. On top of the tin, a castle is depicted. The text "VERKADE Koninklijke Verkade Fabrieken Zaandam Holland" is embossed on the bottom, readable from the inside.
