Product Description:
This vintage cigar tin from Schimmelpenninck is designed for 25 DUET cigars and dates back to the 1980s-1990s. The tin has an elegant oval shape and features a detachable lid in gold and red. The cream-white background of the tin is decorated with a medallion image, the product name and information, as well as a gold-colored depiction of a house on a tobacco plantation.

Condition:

Schimmelpenninck was the largest cigar factory in Wageningen, reaching its peak in 1939 with approximately seven hundred employees producing over thirty-two million cigars. The company grew steadily and established itself in 1931 in the premises of the former tannery Roes on Stationsstraat. Cigar makers were paid piecework wages, depending on the number of cigars they produced per day or week.
