  • Manufacturer: Patria Biscuit Factory Amsterdam
  • Manufacturing Date: 1968

Product Description:
Discover the nostalgic past with this unique travel pack of PATRIA biscuits from 1968! A splendid combination of vintage charm and delightful flavors awaits you.

The round, tall shape of the tin with its loose impression lid and protruding edge gives an authentic appearance. The longitudinal seam and bottom are crafted with skill, and the decoration is like a lively painting from a girls' book. Proudly displayed on the yellow label is: "PATRIA TRAVEL PACK," while the pink check reminds you of "PATRIA Quality Biscuits Amsterdam Holland."

The 1968 travel pack is specially designed with a new advertising text: "Everywhere fresh Patria biscuits." A splendid role, both for storage and transportation, has been created by Patria Biscuits in Amsterdam.

The tin is a true work of art from 1968, adorned with a beautiful graphic representation. A woman in an elegant summer dress leans casually over a classic American car from the 1950s. Above her hovers a nostalgic plane, while a fast train rushes through the hills. On the other side, a cruise ship and sailboat grace the water.

The text "Patria travel pack" is displayed on the tin, while the side reminds you of the delightful freshness of Patria biscuits: "Everywhere fresh Patria biscuits." The dark blue impression lid with a raised edge adds a touch of elegance to this piece of nostalgia.

Condition and Dimensions:
This tin is in good vintage condition, with normal signs of use and wear consistent with its age. The dimensions, with a height of 24 cm and a diameter of 8 cm, make it a compact and charming collector's item.

Dive into the history of the Patria Biscuit Factory in Amsterdam, which introduced the Rijksmuseum to many Dutch families in the 1950s. Relive the time of large drums of biscuits, also known as "kaakjes," adorning many living room tables. Feel the significance behind this piece of heritage where cookies, rusks, and crackers were crafted. A piece of history dating back to 1978 when the factory garnered attention, and women protested its closure for a week. Although the factory was demolished in 1981, its heritage lives on in this beautiful piece of Patria history.
