A beautiful set of two tins from the renowned brand ARK. These vintage cracker tin and gingerbread tin were lovingly crafted by Verblifa and date back to the period between 1950 and 1979.

Exquisite Appearance
The cracker tin comes with a separate lid and has the name ARK subtly engraved on the lid's edge. The gingerbread tin features a hinged lid for added convenience. Both tins are beautifully decorated with colourful field flowers, including poppies, cornflowers, chamomile, and ears of wheat. These natural motifs give the set a charming and timeless look.

A Piece of History
The ARK bakery was founded in 1920 and started as a craft bakery producing delicious crackers and gingerbread. The company, consisting of five sons and two daughters, quickly became well-known in the Netherlands. In 1931, two sons of ARK, Gerrit Jan van Ark and Martinus Johan van Ark, decided to build a factory on Zwolseweg, where Ark's Beschuitfabriek is still located today.

An Experience of Nostalgia
These tins not only represent a piece of history but also evoke nostalgic memories of an era when ARK products were particularly beloved in provinces such as Overijssel, Zeeland, and South Holland. In 1975, the factory was taken over by Bolletje, further expanding the range of this esteemed bakery.
