Numans Blikfabrieken was a tin factory located in Amsterdam. The company was founded in 1884 and produced tinplate packaging for various products such as food, paint and chemicals. The company had several factories in Amsterdam and was one of the largest can manufacturers in the Netherlands in the 1950s.

In addition to producing tin packaging, Numans Blikfabrieken was also involved in the production of ammunition boxes and other metal products for the Dutch defence. The company was also active abroad, especially in former colonies such as the Dutch East Indies.

In the 1980s, however, things went less well for Numans Blikfabrieken. Due to competition from low-wage countries and a declining demand for tin packaging in the Netherlands, the company had to reorganize and several factories were closed. Finally, Numans Blikfabrieken was taken over in 1993 by another tin manufacturer, Thomassen & Drijver-Verblifa (TDV). The factory in Amsterdam was closed and production moved to other TDV sites in the Netherlands.
