Description
Very nice set of mugs, cups or bowls made of colored opal glass and made by Arcopal. Marked at the bottom with 'Opale France'. From the sixties! Good quality.

Officially a soup cup, but of course also just a beautiful milk cup, tea or coffee cup.

These bowls have a glossy finish and are in a neat vintage condition. The bowls are not only fireproof, but also dishwasher safe.

Made by the French company "Arc International" in the 1960s. The company is known worldwide for its glass and tableware brands, such as Arcopal, Arcoroc, Luminarc and Cristal d'Arques. The Arcopal Opale series has a great collector's value and is therefore increasingly difficult to find.

Condition
These Arcopal France Opale soup cups are in good vintage condition with normal traces of use and age-related traces of wear. No chips, cracks or other damage. However, some colors may be a little faded. Photos are part of the description.

Arcopal France
The Arcopal brand was introduced in 1958. This fully tempered glassware is known for its high strength and durability and, although very thin, Arcopal glass is five times stronger than porcelain. Arcopal tableware was famous for its translucent opal borosilicate glass.
