39 year old tin of Pijnenburg released on the occasion of the 100th anniversary.

The company's origins can be traced back to 1883, when Harry Peijnenburg owned a bakery in Geldrop. In 1983 the company was awarded the Royal designation.

Description
The anniversary tin is a gingerbread or cake tin with nostalgic images on all sides and on the lid. The production process of the Peijnenburg cake is depicted from start to finish. Supplied with a loose insert lid.

Koninklijke Peijnenburg B.V. is a producer of gingerbread under the brand names Peijnenburg and Wieger Ketellapper. The company has offices in Geldrop and Sintjohannesga. In 1983 the company was awarded the Royal designation.

The company's origins can be traced back to 1883, when Harry Peijnenburg owned a bakery in Geldrop. The gradually growing company was split up in 1915, with son Harry taking over the bread and pastries, and son Johan (Mr Han) specialized in cakes and pastries. The biscuit factory was founded in 1917 under the name De Bijenkorf. In 1920 22 people worked there. The company settled at its current location and expanded significantly. In 1952 it was converted into a Limited Liability Company. In 1954 a new factory was opened, still in the center of Geldrop.
