Rectangular vintage biscuit tin with a loose lid. The decoration of this tin consists of a white background with an illustration by Rien Poortvliet from the book "Along the garden path of my fathers" on the lid and all sides. On the lid 'The blue house in Ouddorp'.

Condition
This biscuit tin is in good vintage condition with light traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Photos are part of the description.

Marinus Harm (Rien) Poortvliet was a Dutch illustrator, draftsman and painter. Poortvliet saw himself as a typical storyteller. His drawings told the story. At most, he wrote a short caption for explanation. Poortvliet died in 1995 at the age of 63.
