Vintage 1970s - 1980s Moulinex salad spinner (also known as a salad tosser) in good, working condition. Beautiful piece of nostalgia from the 1970's kitchen. With this machine, wet (just washed) lettuce is centrifuged dry. Due to the rotating force that is created, the water is thrown off the lettuce.

This salad spinner consists of a plastic container with a lid on it and a sort of colander inside. In. The lid has a handle with which the colander can be rotated, so that the lettuce is hurled dry.

Very retro and with a nostalgic orange look. Pendulum with brown knob. Operates manually by means of centrifugal force.

This salad garland has been completely disassembled and cleaned thoroughly. The four white anti-slip feet are all still present.

Condition
This salad pendulum is in a good working vintage condition with normal traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Photos are part of description.

A salad spinner, also known as a salad tosser, is a kitchen tool used to wash and remove excess water from salad greens. It uses centrifugal force to separate the water from the leaves, enabling salad dressing to stick to the leaves without dilution.

Salad spinners are usually made from plastic and include an outer bowl with an inner removable colander or strainer basket. A cover, which fits around the outside bowl, contains a spinning mechanism that when initiated causes the inside strainer to rotate rapidly. The water is driven through the slits in the basket into the outer bowl. There are a number of different mechanisms used to operate the device, including crank handles, push buttons and pull-cords.
