Description
Very nice vintage desk lamp from the Dutch brand Hala and made in a beautiful orange color. The inside of the hood is white. The on/off button is on the base. This lamp has a bendable metal arm. Many Hala fixtures find a second life and often become collector's items.
Condition
This Hala lamp is in vintage condition with normal traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Bottom plate is missing. Photos are part of the description.

HALA
Hala lamps has been located in Zeist, the Netherlands, since 1932 and is one of the first lighting manufacturers in the Netherlands. Founded by industrial designer Herman Theodoor Jan Anthoin Busquet. Afterwards the company moved to Amersfoort.
Hala supplies decorative lighting and project lighting and mainly operates in the field of home interiors. The decorative lighting is supplied to the better lighting stores in the Netherlands and Belgium. Hala often collaborates with well-known designers. Peter Kos, Herman Busquet and Tom Kater are no strangers to the design world.
The Halla brand ceased production in 2013. Maretti Lighting in Almere kept some Halla models alive. Around 2015, Maretti stopped publishing it.
