Description
Vintage tin cookie jar from 1936/37. The tin has a rectangular shape with rounded corners and a hinged lid. This tin was issued in honour of the engagement and subsequent wedding of Princess Juliana and Prince Bernhard. On the lid is a photo of Juliana and Bernhard in an oval with an orange background. In the lid and on the sides are machine-driven floral motifs, sometimes coloured black and orange. On the lid, the tin is decorated around the photo with a crown at the top and two lions climbing on the sides.
Condition
This tin is in good vintage condition with traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Photos are part of the description.
