Description
This rectangular tin drum shows images of Loevesteijn castle and a sailing ship on the river at Woudrichem for biscuits from De Bruijn. Text: "De Bruinkoek, Honing In Uw Woning".
Supplied with a hinged lid. The decoration consists of a blue background with watercolour drawings in colour with the river Waal with a view of Loevestein and Woudrichem. Text: "Where Maas and Waal flow together". The front and back show the same image. This also applies to the sides showing a house in which a beehive with the text: ''Honey In Your Home''.
Marked on the bottom and legible in relief on the inside of the tin: “de Bruinkoek, honey in your home!” The capital letter B is modelled in the shape of a bear.
Condition
This metal tin for "De Bruinkoek" is in a good vintage condition with normal traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Photos are part of the description.
