Vintage Tupperware powder sugar caster or icing sugar sifter. Of course, not only suitable for powdered sugar but also for cocoa powder and more... Can be taken apart into four parts, so that it can be kept clean easily. White/dark blue colour scheme.

This Tupperware powder spreader is in good vintage condition with normal traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Photos are part of the description.

In 1944 Earl Tupper founded the "Tupperware Plastics Company". This American chemist (from DuPont) was a pioneer in the use of polyethene for household applications. Two years later, Mr Tupper launched his "Wonderbowl", a "miraculous" bowl with a revolutionary airtight closure, which was much lighter and stronger than traditional glass and pottery.

In the early years, the products were for sale in department stores, hardware stores and other shops. But in this way, the exceptional quality of the Tupperware products did not come into its own. After all, nobody took the time to show and explain to consumers the benefits of these airtight and waterproof bowls.

In 1948, Vice President Brownie Wise introduced the Tupperware Home Party, a whole new way of bringing products directly to consumers. In this way, the many possibilities of the products could be personally demonstrated.
