The Société Céramique (Maastricht: de Zjèrremik) was a pottery factory in the Dutch city of Maastricht, which operated independently from 1863 to 1958 and afterwards for several decades as part of N.V. Sphinx-Céramique and N.V. Koninklijke Sphinx. The company's name lives on in the name of the Céramique district, which arose after the demolition of most of the factory buildings on the 23-hectare industrial estate. The Avenue Céramique, the main street of the district, and the Center Céramique, which houses a collection of Maastricht pottery, are also reminders of the company.
