A rechaud is an object for keeping dishes with food warm. Characteristic of a rechaud is that it is made in such a way that a pan, plate or dish can be placed above a heat source. The heat source is often sufficient to keep food warm, reheaters are not suitable for heating up food. For domestic use, warmers with candles are most often used. Rechauds are often used in Chinese or Indian restaurants to serve rice tables. These will then stay warm while eating.
Another kind of a rechaud is the so-called "tea light'. This is a somewhat smaller rechaud that is equipped with a small candle, on which a teapot can be placed. The one candle rechaud owes the commonly used nickname tea light to this method of use.

This one burner rechaud is in a vintage condition with normal traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Pictures are part of the description.

Brabantia is a company founded in the Dutch village of Aalst and manufactures metal and plastic household products. Today, the head office is located in Valkenswaard, North Brabant. Production no longer takes place in the Netherlands.
The company started in 1919 with 15 employees under the name Van Elderen & Co. It was originally a metal goods company that supplied to agriculture and the cigar industry: milk sieves, buckets, funnels, watering cans and cigar tins.
When it was founded in 1919, the company was named "Van Elderen & Co". After some time the name changed to "Van Elderen's Metalware Factories Brabantia". From about 1941 the first part of the name has been omitted, and it is only "Brabantia". Brabantia is the Latin word for Brabant (Dutch Province).
Brabantia was founded in 1919 in the Dutch town of Aalst by a group of 15 people. A family business pur sang. Then and now. With a firm belief in honest products, made by people with a heart for quality. Ideas focused on sustainability - designed for living.
Ranunculus is a large genus of about 600 species of flowering plants in the family Ranunculaceae. Members of the genus are known as buttercups, spearworts and water crowfoots.
The familiar and widespread buttercup of gardens throughout Northern Europe (and introduced elsewhere) is the creeping buttercup Ranunculus repens, which has extremely tough and tenacious roots. Two other species are also widespread, the bulbous buttercup Ranunculus bulbosus and the much taller meadow buttercup Ranunculus acris. In ornamental gardens, all three are often regarded as weeds.
Buttercups usually flower in the spring, but flowers may be found throughout the summer, especially where the plants are growing as opportunistic colonizers, as in the case of garden weeds.
