Description
Vintage rusk tin by HAGA Rotterdam equipped with a loose lid. The decoration of this tin consists of a creamy yellow background with a partly black and yellow diamond pattern. On the top of the tin the text "Beschuit". The lid has the text Jubileum Januari 1886 - 1936. The tin has a longitudinal seam on the back.
This tin made by HAKA was released on the occasion of the 50th anniversary in 1936. It is a small jubilee rusk tin that could only hold 9 pieces of rusk. Marked with logo on the bottom.
HAKA was a Cooperative Trade Association in Rotterdam.
Condition
This HAKA biscuit tin is in a vintage condition with traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Photos are part of description.

The cooperative wholesale association 'De Handelskamer' was founded on September 26, 1914 with the aim of supplying workers with good quality food for a reasonable price. Shop cooperatives could join regardless of their political or religious affiliation. Haka had several dozen cooperatives as buyers across the country.
