From the FridgeSmart series by Tupperware, this small green storage box comes in the fridge. Super handy for storing pieces of fruit or vegetables.

FridgeSmart storage boxes help you keep your fruits and vegetables fresher for longer. It consists of a plastic box with two ventilation knobs that you can adjust depending on the type of vegetables, fruit or other food you keep in it.
Works perfectly and significantly extends the shelf life. Transparent, so you can immediately see what's inside.

The FridgeSmart shown here is ideal for various pieces of vegetables or fruit, but also for a piece of cheese or meat products.

In 1944 Earl Tupper founded the "Tupperware Plastics Company". This American chemist (from the DuPont company) was a pioneer in the use of polyethylene for household applications. Two years later, Mr Tupper launched his “Wonderbowl”, a "miraculous" bowl with a revolutionary airtight closure, which was much lighter and sturdier than traditional glass and pottery.

In the early years, the products were for sale in department stores, hardware stores and other shops. But in this way the exceptional quality of the Tupperware products did not come into its own. Nobody took the time to show and explain to consumers the benefits of these airtight and watertight bowls.

In 1948, Vice President Brownie Wise introduced the Tupperware Home Party, a whole new way of bringing products directly to consumers. In this way the many possibilities of the products could be demonstrated in person.
