Description
Brabantia rechaud, also known as dish warmer or hot plate. This rechaud comes from the Bayon series, the decoration of which is characterized by a white background with horizontal decorations, consisting of circles and curved lines in brown and two shades of orange.
This rechaud works on two candles which can be extinguished by means of the levers on the sides. On top is a chrome-plated metal grid, on which a plate can be placed or a teapot, so the tea or meal does not get cold.
Place two candles in the holders under the grid and your food will stay nice and warm when served at the table.

When it was founded in 1919, the company was named "Van Elderen & Co". After some time the name changed to "Van Elderen's Metalware Factories Brabantia". From about 1941 the first part of the name has been omitted, and it is only "Brabantia". Brabantia is the Latin word for Brabant (Dutch Province).
