Description
Brabantia rechaud, or also called tea light, dish warmer or hot plate. This rechaud comes from the 1970s and has a brown background in two shades. This pattern is known as Shadow brown.

This rechaud works on two candles that can be extinguished by means of the levers on the sides. On top is a chrome-plated metal grid, on which a plate can be placed or a teapot, so that the tea or meal doesn't get cold.

Place two candles in the holders under the grid and your food will stay nice and warm on the table. Also super handy for camping!

From about 1941 the first part of the name has been omitted, and it is only "Brabantia". Brabantia is the Latin word for Brabant (Dutch Province).
