Bay Keramik was founded in 1933 by Eduard Bay in Ransbach-Baumbach and was one of the most successful ceramic factories in West Germany. Their most famous designers were A. Seide and Bodo Mans. Today, Bay ceramics, which vary in design from the very bizarre to the extreme modernism, are very popular with interior designers and collectors. The factory, which could no longer continue with their costly production process, ceased to exist in 1997.
