Description
Set of four high round promotional tins to be used for storage and published in the year 1977 by Estele Hoogovens with images of old crafts. Equipped with a loose white lid.

The decoration of these tins consists of various drawn images of a craft and executed in black with pink. The lid and the canister have a gold-colored rolled edge.

These are four different tins with four old crafts as a theme. These crafts all have to do with "steel". These promotional tins were issued in 1977, in honor of the five-year anniversary and givens as a gift to the employees of the Hoogovens factory in IJmuiden.

The crafts that are depicted on the tins are:

• The skate maker (schaatsenmaaker)
• The Coppersmith (kooperslaager)
• The Blacksmith (smid)
• The Pinmaker (speldemaaker)

On the back of the tins are four different accompanying poems concerning the old crafts. They're made by Jan Luyken, Estel Hoogovens, IJmuiden

Condition
This set of four tins is still in a very good vintage condition with minimal traces of use.

Estel Hoogovens
Estel was the name of the merged company between Hoogovens in IJmuiden and the steel company Hoesch from Dortmund. Both companies received a 50 percent share in the central management company Estel. Estel has its registered office in the Netherlands. Estel was officially established on July 7, 1972, with retroactive effect to January 1. Already in 1982, this merger was canceled!

The former headquarters of Estel are still in Nijmegen.
