Arcopal France Opale, soup cup

Soup cup or mug made of blue opal glass made by Arcopal. Marked at the bottom with 'Opale France'. Originating from the sixties! In an old vintage condition.

In origin it's a soup cup, but of course just as good as milk cup, tea or coffee cup.

  • Height: 8 cm.
  • Length: 10 cm.
  • Width: 10 cm.

These cups have a glossy finish and are in a neat vintage condition. The cups are not only fireproof but also dishwasher safe.

The Arcopal brand was introduced in 1958. This fully tempered glassware is known for its high strength and durability and, although very thin, Arcopal glass is five times stronger than porcelain. Arcopal tableware was famous for its translucent opal borosilicate glass.
