JENAer glas "Carina" casserole. 

Gorgeous vintage JENAer glas casserole executed in the famous 'Carina' design, also known as peacock eyes. This casserole is from the mid 60s, early 70s. JENAer glas is a heat-resistant and chemically resistant borosilicate glass, developed by Otto Schott in 1887. Today, Jena glass is produced in the Lower Bavarian town of Zwiesel (Germany). 

Pay attention! This casserole is in a good vintage condition, but has damage to the top of the handle.

This "heat resistant" users glass has been manufactured since 1920 and sold in Jena under the brand name JENAer GLAS. It was used for both industrial and household applications. 

Jena is a city in eastern Germany, located on the Saale in Thuringia.
