DRU (Holland) Confetti enamelled pan

Vintage cookware from the 50s. Nice item for the kitchen or for decoration. DRU pan, black with colored confetti dots. Yellow cover with black knob. Used but indestructible. As the advertisement says, "one pan .... but a feast on the table! 

The Confetti kitchen enamel is designed by Wim Gilles. Along with Piet Zwart, he is seen as one of the first founders of the Dutch industrial designers. 

Diepenbrock and Reigers Ulft Netherlands. 

Also to be found in the current Design Collection of the Museum of Rotterdam. This is a black enamelled pan with round Yellow-colored cover and black handle in the middle. With the famous confetti dots pattern on the side. Manufactured by: Diepenbrock and Reigers at Ulft (DRU). Design: Wim Gilles. 

Round, flat bottom, slightly curved outside. Round edge extends into two handles, top will give elliptical appearance. Round yellow lid, black handle in the middle. Type Name: Confetti table enamel. Black with groups of three spots: two red, one yellow. White inside. Yellow cover with four circular orbits. 

Height: 8 cm (with lid 11 cm.) 
Width: 23 cm. 
Length: 28 cm. with handle.
