Vintage 60s baking dish by Arcopal. A sunny Arcopal France red opal glass baking dish with white lid. The dish has a red sprayed exterior. The inside and at the bottom are white, as well as the lid.
Made of beautiful and solid opal glass.
Arcopal France Opal, although no longer in production, still very well-known and a hard to get collectors item. The milk or opal glass was made according to a special procedure, so that it is stronger than porcelain or ceramic. This vintage series of opal glass by Arcopal France is very worth collecting and highly sought after by collectors. The dish is in a good vintage condition. No chips but with traces of use on the red surface.
Great 60s bowl for decoration or for everyday use.
